What is a Primary Care Network?

The Campbell River & District Primary Care Network (PCN) is a partnership of local clinics, practitioners, allied health professionals, health care partners & patients. Together we’re building a more connected, team-based approach to primary care in our region.

Across BC, Divisions of Family Practice, health authorities, First Nations and community partners have established PCNs to provide residents with access to MSP-funded care from a wide range of clinicians.

PCNs enhance the health of their communities by introducing team-based services, fostering collaboration, strengthening connections and improving access to care.

Primary Care Networks are a provincial initiative through the Ministry of Health. Visit the Family Practice Services Committee website to learn more about PCNs as a provincial initiative.
